One of the best shops in all of Manitowoc. Great food with reasonable prices. Birthday cakes are awesome. Garlic bread chips are a great game time treat. Just the warmth and smell of this place is worth the trip.

First time to visit and I well tell you it well be the last.2 employees in bakery one wouldn't talk to us the other one was very rude. I did get 2 donuts they where good. But not good enough to put up with the rudeness. They treated the other 2 people in the store the same.

The premier bakery in Manitowoc. Excellent donuts, sweet rolls, and bread. They also have hard rolls that compliment any burger perfectly!

I was disappointed in the Persians, hardly any cinnamon in the sweet roll....To me that's what makes it a Persian!!! Service slow. Hard rolls were good!

I lived a half block from here for 12 years. They have the best homemade breads, buns, and hardrolls. The doughnuts and all the other pastry items are excellent as well. Go for one doughnut or a couple dozen you won't be disappointed!

My favorite bakery in Manitowoc. The people are always friendly, the apple fritters are to die for, and it's locally owned.

I use to live near this place and visited every Sunday(have since moved). Drove 3 hours for a wedding and had to stop to take some goodies home.

Everything is fresh, made in-house, and tasty. Everything from breads, donuts, scones, bars, rolls, cakes, cookies, and even kolaches, the pastry ones, not the cookies. I've been here two times so far, and will definitely become a regular.

I've been a patron of this fine bakery since the 1960's. All your bakery needs from fresh breads to cupcakes and beyond. Best place in town to get kolaches. But get there early because they go fast.

They were able to make a wedding cake for me in just a days notice, the cake was very pretty and tasted good. They were all so nice and very understanding.

My son and I went today for the first time. We picked up two blueberry and apple muffins. The gal that helped us was sweet, the muffins were moist and the prices were reasonable. We would stop again.

My wife and I recently got married and decided we wanted to support locally. The detail and organizational structure of the wedding cake process impressed us. The cake was delicious and decorated the way we wanted it. It was delivered on time and quickly, I actually didn't even get to thank the wonderful team for our beautiful cake. Below is our cake and we loved it! Hartman's got exactly what we wanted. Highly, highly recommend any future bride and grooms to go there! No regrets!

Great offering of baked goods with friendly people

I picked up a dozen iced sugar cookies about a week ago and they were fantastic. Also, they're only 65 cents a piece! Where else can you buy a hand-made desert item for a 65 cents in 2010? Awesome Bakery! The lady behind the counter was also exceptionally friendly. I'll definitely stop by Hartman's again anytime I need(or have a craving for) baked goods.

Great bakery

We were there today for the first time since the new owners reopened the store. If they keep the same quality that they have now they will not be lacking customers. Their bakery is better tasting than the old owners bakery. Needless to say we will be back.
